Now is our only chance to be happy, to be at peace.
Now is our only chance to pay attention, to allow our hearts and minds to be completely open and free.
Everything else is just the play of memory, an indulgence in isolation, in self-centered and self-destructive fantasy.
Now is our only chance to be kind, to be wise.
Now is our only chance to give ourselves to the tender joy of affection and compassion, to the gentle intimacy of honesty, openness, and humility.
Everybody hurts. Everybody feels isolated and lonely, with our separate labels and our separate lives. Yet we are all the very same Self.
Why continue to pretend otherwise?
